Bootsschuhe sind nicht nur etwas für Matrosen, sie sind auch der perfekte Begleiter für den Alltag

Design trifft auf Know-How

Unsere Schuhe für Ihr nächsten Bootsausflug werden ausschließlich aus hochwertigen Materialien gefertigt. Dabei verwenden wir vorwiegend Rindsleder für das Obermaterial der Schuhe, da es gleich mehrere gute Eigenschaften kombiniert: Leder ist besonders langlebig und robust, dabei zugleich flexibel genug, um sich angenehm an den Fuß anzupassen und diesen vor Stößen und Kratzern zu schützen. Bootsschuhe, auch Segelschuhe oder Deckschuhe genannt, müssen zudem auch Salzwasser zuverlässig widerstehen können und sind immer als geschlossene Schuhe zu finden. 

Unsere Schuhe fürs Deck werden grundsätzlich ohne Socken getragen, da sich diese mit Wasser vollsaugen würden. Die meisten Sebago Schuhe werden klassisch mit Lederbändern geschnürt, dies erlaubt es den Fuß für besonders sicheren Halt extra festzuschnüren. Unsere Sohlen werden aus besonders hochwertigem Gummi oder Naturkautschuk gefertigt, damit auf den feinen Holzböden des Decks keine Abriebspuren entstehen. Damit sie sich beim Abrollen des Fußes flexibel mitbewegen können, fällt die Sohle eher dünn aus. Dies erhöht stark den Tragekomfort der Schuhe und trägt zudem zur Sicherheit auf rauen Untergründen wie etwa Steinstränden und Küsten bei. Das Profil der Sohle ist extrem fein, mit einer speziellen Wellen-Wabenstruktur konstruiert, damit sich kleine Steinchen nicht so einfach in den Rillen festsetzen können. Dabei verlieren sie aber trotzdem nichts an ihrer Rutschfestigkeit. Diese Drainage-Kanäle sorgen außerdem dafür, dass das Wasser gut aus der Sohle abfließen kann.
